Financial SupportThere will be limited funds from the European Physical Society to support scientists from Eastern Europe (age preferably under 40 years). Applicants, who must have an accepted contribution at Dynamics Days 2005, should apply directly to the East West Task Force ( procedure see on the webpage, application form) , and mention that Dynamics Days 2005 has been listed as a Europhysics Conference. Deadline for applications: April 15, 2005.Applications must be received by the East West Task Force before April 30, 2005. German students (Diploma students, PhD students), who are members of the German Physical Society and who present a poster or a talk, are eligible for support by the Heraeus foundation. Applicants should download the application form from http://www.dpg-tagungen.de/subm/weh.html and send this form together with the notification of acceptance of the conference contribution (which will be sent by email in May) no later than June 10, 2005 to DPG-Geschaeftsstelle Hauptstrasse 5 53604 Bad Honnef Additionally, there will be a very small number of grants available to support scientists from less-favoured regions in Europe and young researchers through the Young Physicists Fund of the European Physical Society (age less than 35). The applications will be reviewed in April together with the contributions to the conference, and promises will be sent in May together with the notification of the acceptance of the contributed talks and posters. |
